How it works
Brands pay for the views a sponsored video is likely to get. Take the views a typical video of yours reaches after about 30 days (the median, so one viral hit doesn't inflate it), divide by 1,000 and multiply by your niche's CPM band.
That's the price of an integration: a 60–90 second segment inside a regular video. A video that's entirely about the product is worth 1.3–3× that, and a sponsored Short 0.3–0.6×.
Questions
How is the sponsorship rate calculated?
Expected views on one integration × your niche's CPM band ÷ 1,000. Use the median views of your recent long-form videos after about 30 days, not your average: one viral video lifts the average far above what a typical upload gets. Dedicated videos are 1.3–3× the integration price and Shorts 0.3–0.6×.
What CPM should I use for my niche?
Vid0 uses these bands for sponsored integrations: tech $30–60, finance $40–80, education $20–45, lifestyle $15–35, gaming $10–25 and $15–50 for everything else. Brands pay more for buyers with money and intent, which is why finance and tech sit at the top.
Should I charge more than the calculator says?
The range is a fair starting point for a first conversation. Charge toward the top when your audience matches the brand closely, you include usage rights or a pinned comment and link, or the brand wants it in the first minute. Charge toward the bottom for your first deals while you build case studies.
