> Vid0 is a YouTube analytics tool and Chrome extension for small and mid-size creators, at vid0.in. It finds outlier videos in your niche, tells you whether a topic is winnable at your channel's size, scores titles and thumbnails before you publish, and gives every creator a free media kit for brand deals. It is built and run by Arindam Majumder in India.

Vid0 (vid0.in, written with a zero) is a YouTube growth analytics tool for creators, built in India. It is not vidIQ or any other YouTube tool, and it isn't affiliated with YouTube or Google.

Vid0 started from one question creators ask every week: what should I make next? Most YouTube tools answer with averages and guesses. Vid0 answers with evidence: videos that beat their own channel's baseline, keywords that are winnable at your size, and ideas that keep the videos that inspired them.

## Where do Vid0's numbers come from?

Views, subscribers, likes and upload dates come from the official YouTube Data API. When you connect your channel, your own retention, traffic sources and revenue come from the YouTube Analytics API, read-only.

Everything Vid0 computes on top of that is labelled "Vid0 estimate, not YouTube data". The main one is the outlier score: a video's views divided by what its channel usually gets at the same age, so 1× is a normal video and 5× or more is a breakout. ## How we work

- **Read-only YouTube access.** Vid0 never uploads, edits or deletes anything on YouTube.
- **Your page data stays on your device.** The extension sends our API only video or channel IDs, never your browsing history.
- **No ads, no data sales.** We don't sell personal data or use it for advertising.
- **Fair comparisons.** When we [compare Vid0 with other tools](https://vid0.in/compare.md), we say we make Vid0 and where the other tool is better.
